The Diamond Bar Journal is a new idea in news. The idea came from a group of local citizens who find it nearly impossible to keep up to date the the local news and information on what's happening here in Diamond Bar, CA 91765.
As most of you know, other than the Windmill, snippets in the local newspapers or getting an email from City Hall it is impossible to keep up to date with what's happening here in town. Our mission is to do a regular posting of news, information and happenings here in town in a form you an access every day. For those of you using news readers (RSS) you will be able to access this site in that method. Others will eventually be able to access us from regular emails and visiting this site.
Some of our news will link you out to other sites where there may be more detailed information, others will be exclusively ours-- and we welcome you to contribute! Just email us at diamondbarjournal@gmail.com with TIPS in the subject line. Along with you news and information tip, along with your name and contact information. All information will be verified or from known sources, but we will not reveal your personal information unless you give us permission.
We are working on a list of what we think should be in our postings and welcome your suggestions. But we are looking for the opportunity to mention things that normally miss the radar in town-- and events people should know about.
